flap exposed

hey! check out this week's issue of goTriad, one of greensboro's weekly papers. there is an article on yours truly. i've posted a scan of it below. unfortunately i was not able to find it online. the story was actually supposed to be printed three weeks ago, so here it is. the picture is straight out of olan mills! and when they were taking the pictures i kept having flashbacks to childhood olan mills sessions where my mom would dress me and my brothers in red, white, and denim and pose us with huge wagon wheels. whoa.



i was a little upset that my website, the most important detail in the article, was misprinted. of all the things! but it's still out there. and goTriad is supposed to be doing a correction either today or next week. at least people can still find me through my job, since the article says that i work at design archives. i had three sweet ladies call me yesterday offering me fabric from their collections and kind words of praise and encouragement! which is awesome because i've really been holding back on buying a lot of fabric, knowing i won't be able to take it with me! but trying to get all these bags made for atlanta is tough with slimmer pickins than what i'm used to!
