fruits of labor

just wanted to share some things i've been working on lately: tank with vintage 'fruity' appliques and distressed pearls for my friend danita. i think i'm going to make a few of these for ice-atlanta.

plus, a few things i'm lovin on this week:

• country cookin - i just can't get enuf! mashed potatoes, yams, macaroni and cheese, green beans, cornbread, the list goes on!
• my very-mini porch garden - let's see how long i can keep my geraniums alive!
• great vintage finds including, among other things, a handmade 70s jumpsuit, an orange gingham shirtwaist with incredible moravian-like stars stiched on, and a black-and-white striped one-piece bathing suit with black snaps and an anchor on the chest!
• new uses for scrapbooking paper with a few presents i'm making
• this week is going to be pretty big for flap! be on the lookout this thursday to see why!

and, how could i forget - happy mother's day to my mom way down in florida! see you this weekend!
