loo-loo-skip-to-my-loo

here is a little flier i've been working on this week. the flier itself will be cut-out and hand-held size (as in 1/3 of a page). i've gone through three or four designs. i've been wanting to change the flap logo for a while now. the amount of birds out and about right now, in both the handmade and mass-produced worlds, is a little much. don't get me wrong! i love birdies as much as the next lass - they're all over my apartment! but for flap, i want something new and fresh. so i'm leaning towards a kite like this one. i've also considered pinwheels and hot air balloons, and all three options make my heart skip-a-beat with childhood memories.

(note: the flier is meant to be horizontal, but i couldn't fit it in my blog's format without turning it on it's side!)

and speaking of hearts skipping-a-beat, who else is gushing over tsumori chisato's fall 2005 collection?! the colors, the details, the applique (lookout prada), and who doesn't l-o-v-e owls and jumpsuits! i'll take one of each. pictures from style.com.
